HERKIMER, N.Y. — Herkimer County Community College announced it has appointed Kaylynn E. Iglesias, of Frankfort, as director of admissions.
Iglesias will provide leadership for the college’s student recruitment and admissions operations as well as the development, implementation, and assessment of recruitment goals and strategies.
With more than 10 years of experience, she previously served as director of admissions at SUNY Morrisville, associate director of admissions at Utica University, senior assistant director of transfer admissions at Utica University, and transfer coordinator at SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
Iglesias also worked as an adjunct instructor at Herkimer College, along with SUNY Poly and Utica University. She currently serves as president-elect for the SUNY College Admissions Professionals.
A Herkimer graduate with an associate degree in general studies, Iglesias also received a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Hartwick College and a master’s degree in English literature from Mercy College.
