FRANKFORT, N.Y. — Marketing and website-design firm Hilltop Marketing is now recognized and certified as a New York State Woman-Owned Business Enterprise.

Granted by Empire State Development’s Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development, the designation certifies the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.

This certification provides Hilltop with access to state contract and procurement opportunities as well as to a statewide network of support services exclusively for certified firms. The state will also list Hilltop in the state’s minority and women’s business development directory of certified firms.

“The recognition is a great honor, and I was fortunate to receive help from the Mohawk Valley Small Business Development Center,” Hilltop founder Leigh Ann Dillon said in a news release. “I’m so pleased to receive the certification and welcome this new exposure as my business continues to grow.”

Hilltop Marketing provides website design and marketing for small businesses and nonprofits.
