Kathleen S. Weber has joined Hiscock & Barclay, LLP as an associate in the Syracuse office’s corporate and tax practice areas. She comes to Hiscock from Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, where she concentrated her practice on business transactions and tax law. Weber graduated from SUNY Buffalo Law School. She is admitted to practice in New York. F. Paul F. Vellano III has joined Hiscock & Barclay as an associate in the Syracuse office’s patents and prosecution practice areas. He had been with the firm as a patent coordinator since 2013. Vellano graduated from SUNY Buffalo Law School and the University of Maryland at College Park. He is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to studying law, Vellano was involved in scientific research in bacteriology and virology at the University of Maryland, Ohio State University, and the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Amber M. Ezell has joined Hiscock & Barclay as a patent agent in the Syracuse office. She previously worked as a patent agent for International IP Law Group, PLLC in Houston, Texas and Abel Law Group, LLP, in Austin, Texas. Ezell is a graduate of the Inamori School of Engineering at Alfred University. She has been a registered patent agent since 2011.
