SYRACUSE — Hiscock & Barclay, LLP of Syracuse recently announced the promotion of attorney John Kelepurovski, Jr. to the position of partner.
He works in the firm’s Syracuse office.
Kelepurovski is a member of Hiscock & Barclay’s corporate, health care and humans services, telecommunications, and lobbying and election-law compliance practice areas, the firm said in a news release.
Kelepurovski has experience handling business transactions, including entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and dissolutions, and drafting and negotiating agreements.
He has formed, represented, and advised numerous nonprofit corporations on corporate governance and tax-exemption issues on a pro bono basis, the firm said.
Headquartered in Syracuse, Hiscock & Barclay also operates offices in Rochester, Albany, Buffalo, Elmira and New York City, along with Boston, Washington, D.C., Newark, N.J., and Toronto.
The law firm has 210 attorneys working in 30 practice areas.
