ROME, N.Y. — Flagstone Real Estate, Inc., is now part of HUNT Real Estate ERA as HUNT continues to expand its presence across the state.

Flagstone’s nine sales professionals have joined the HUNT team.

“We are thrilled to have the Flagstone sales professionals join our team and expand our presence in Rome,” Dave Evans, regional VP of HUNT’s Central New York region, said in a news release. “I’ve enjoyed getting to know Flagstone’s owners, Julie Sestito and Wendy Palinski, and can appreciate the good reputation they’ve earned. While the brokerage name will be changing to HUNT, the faces will stay the same.”

HUNT will operate from Flagstone’s branch office at 8490 Turin Road. The 2,000-square-foot Rome office joins Hunt locations in Oneida, New Hartford, and Clinton.

“The Flagstone agents had $25 million in sales in the past year,” Evans tells CNYBJ in an email. “With this being our fourth branch in the Mohawk Valley, complementing our other well-seasoned branches, we expect that all of the HUNT agents will benefit from having additional branding and exposure to the entire market.”

Flagstone got its start in April 2016 when Palinski and Sestito bought the former Clemens-Beckley Real Estate agency, according to the agency’s website.

“Julie and I, along with the entire Flagstone team, are proud to join HUNT Real Estate ERA,” Palinski said in a statement. “We look forward to offering our clients continued exceptional service with the addition of expanded marketing and resources that HUNT offers.”

Earlier this year, HUNT’s Chief Marketing Officer Dan Mirsky told CNYBJ that the firm is always in the market to acquire brokerages that HUNT aligns with culturally and that provide financial gains to both parties. With this newest acquisition, HUNT has more than 250 real-estate agents across Central New York. Companywide, parent company HUNT Real Estate Corp. has more than 1,700 agents.

HUNT Real Estate ERA operates more than 55 branch offices in New York, Massachusetts, and Arizona. Its New York offices include locations in Camillus, Cazenovia, Cicero, Manlius, Liverpool, New Hartford, Oneida, and now Rome. HUNT also operates a commercial brokerage, mortgage-banking firm, insurance agency, and title agency.
