HUNT Real Estate nears end of multi-office relocation project

MANLIUS, N.Y. — HUNT Real Estate is close to completing its plan to reorganize and rebuild its facilities across the Central New York region.

The effort began in 2019 with the real-estate agency’s Camillus office, which moved from a 2,700-square-foot facility into a new 5,400-square-foot state-of-the-art space on West Genesee Street.

HUNT then began construction of a new 10,000-square-foot facility in Manlius, investing more than $1 million into the project. Once the company completed that branch, HUNT relocated its Oneida office into a new building on Lenox Avenue. After that, it turned its focus to the Cicero market where HUNT is moving its branch there to a 3,600-square-feet in the Target Plaza on Brewerton Road.

At the same time, HUNT is in the process of remodeling its 10,000-square-foot office on Route 57 in Clay, as well as its Cazenovia office. The Cicero, Clay, and Cazenovia branches are scheduled for move-in at the end of January and represent a total investment of more than $3 million, the firm said. Later this year, HUNT plans to move its Utica/New Hartford branch.

“We have great confidence in the Central New York region of our state,” HUNT Chairman and CEO Peter Hunt said in a release. “Our presence, commitment, and investment in our people and facilities reflects this confidence, which is now reflected in our growing market share and positions us for continued growth well into the future.”

Dave Evans, regional VP of HUNT’s Central New York region, added, “Our staff and sales professionals are all thrilled with the new spaces designed to best suit their needs, many of whom participated in our advisor groups that contributed to the final designs. I’m pleased we were also able to use all local vendors, from architects to contractors to furniture and fixture suppliers, keeping these projects supportive of Central New York businesses.”
