ICM Controls names new president and CEO

CICERO, N.Y. — The board of directors of ICM Controls Corp. has named Joseph Bonacci the company’s new president & CEO.

Bonacci replaces Andy Kadah in the firm’s top leadership role, according to Kevin Jobsky, senior marketing manager at ICM Controls.

“While ICM remains fiscally strong, its board of directors felt the company needed to move in a new direction in order to leverage its full potential and that Mr. Bonacci is best suited to facilitate this transition,” Jobsky tells CNYBJ.

In his new role, Bonacci will continue to serve as chairman of ICM Controls’ board of directors, where he has played an “active role” since 2019, the company said.

ICM Controls is a Cicero–based heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) and custom control manufacturer.

Bonacci brings more than 20 years of leadership experience as both an executive and business owner. He joins ICM from Syracuse–based Highfield Enterprises, a telemarketing and call center, where he was CEO.

Prior to Highfield, Bonacci was president and owner of Excel Wholesale of Fayetteville, a grocery and consumer staple wholesale and distribution company.

Bonacci is “very familiar” with the strategic and operational functions of ICM’s business and will have an “immediate impact” on business, the company contends.

As part of ICM leadership changes, the company has promoted Zachary Kadah, nephew of Andy Kadah, to VP. Zachary Kadah has been with ICM since 2009 in a variety of capacities, most recently as OEM national sales manager.

In his new VP role, Kadah’s primary focus will be driving revenue increases and all “revenue-related functions,” which include shipping deliverables and business development.

Launched in 1984, ICM Controls is a manufacturer of electronic controls specializing in the HVAC industry. The ICM Controls’ manufacturing plant focuses on captive printed circuit-board fabrication, fully- automated electronic assembly, and captive injection molding. ICM works with its network of distributors to provide its controls and service to customers around the globe.
