Independent Insurance Agents of CNY elects new officers

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Independent Insurance Agents of Central New York (IIACNY) has announced new officers.

The association’s new leaders took the oath of office in a ceremony on June 22 at The Pompey Club in Pompey.

The newly elected officers are:

§    Steven Corapi, R.G. Wright Agency, Inc., Auburn — president

§    Michael Crowley, Crowley Insurance Agency, Inc., East Syracuse — vice president

§    Timothy Toomey, Banach & Toomey Insurance, Syracuse — immediate past          president

§    Richard MacDonald, Haylor, Freyer & Coon, Inc., Syracuse — treasurer

§    Joseph Convertino, Jr., CH Insurance Brokerage Services, Inc., Syracuse — secretary

 

Newly elected to three-year terms on the IIACNY board of directors are:

     §  Sherry Mossotti, Brown & Brown Empire State, Syracuse

     §  David Schreyack, OneGroup NY, Inc., Syracuse

 

Re-elected to second three-year terms on the board are:

§    Keith Lindstrom, New York Central Mutual, Edmeston

§    David Shopiro, Shopiro Agency, Inc., Syracuse

§    Jennifer Winter, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Syracuse

 

They join the following board members whose terms expire in 2016 and 2017:

§    Patricia Corwin, Haylor, Freyer & Coon, Syracuse

§    Thomas Eschen, SANNY, Canastota
