LANSING, N.Y. — Tompkins County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who robbed the Lansing branch of the Cornell Federal Credit Union Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect, described as a 6-foot-tall black male in a black hooded sweatshirt, black face mask and tan or khaki pants with dark shoes, entered the credit union, displayed a handgun, and demanded money, according to the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said the incident took place at just after 4:30 p.m.

A video taken inside the credit union and released by the sheriff’s office shows the robber going from one teller to another, then leaving as a customer enters the credit union’s front door.
