ITHACA, N.Y. — The Ithaca Marriott Downtown on the Commons plans to open on Monday at 120 South Aurora St. in Ithaca.
The hotel includes 159 guestrooms, an indoor-outdoor restaurant, a fitness center, and meeting and event space, according to a news release the hotel issued Wednesday.
The Ithaca Marriott has more than 2,300 square feet of meeting space, including three meeting rooms. The hotel’s largest venue, the Gorges Ballroom, will accommodate up to 175.

The Ithaca Marriott is a joint venture between Urgo Hotels & Resorts and Ensemble Real Estate Solutions & Investments.
Urgo Hotels is a Bethesda, Maryland–based hotel company that develops, owns, and/or operates 34 hotels and resorts in major markets and resorts in the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean, according to the Marriott news release. The company develops, builds and operates for its own account, and provides third-party management and asset-management services.
Phoenix, Arizona–based Ensemble Real Estate develops and renovates hotels. Ensemble has partnerships with boutique hotel operators and global brands including Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt.
