SENECA FALLS — ITT Corp. (NYSE: ITT) is adding a 75,000-square-foot expansion to its Seneca Falls facility.
The project will add new manufacturing space and expand the site’s current research and development laboratory. The location is the headquarters of ITT’s industrial process business and home to the largest manufacturing site and headquarters for its Goulds Pumps business, a provider of pumps for a range of industrial markets.
ITT manufactures products for markets including energy infrastructure, electronics, aerospace, and transportation.

The Seneca Falls project will add at least 50 jobs at the site, where 860 employees already work, according to ITT. The $22 million expansion will help the firm enhance its capabilities to produce pumps for the oil and gas industry.
Work on the project is already under way and will finish by the end of 2013.
ITT has employees in 30 countries and generated revenue in 2011 of $2.1 billion.
