Dwyer Architectural is pleased to announce the promotion of Izzy Straub, AIA to associate principal. Izzy joined Dwyer Architectural’s Rochester office in 2020. Her 12 years of professional-design experience have encompassed a wide variety of project types including health care, higher education, and laboratories. Izzy has been a registered architect in New York state since 2016, and an AIA member since 2021. She continues to be a mentor to Dwyer Architectural’s staff and is also involved with RIT’s mentor/mentee program, helping guide the next generation of architects. Izzy’s knowledge on site ensures that progress continues, assisting contractors in problem solving when challenges occur. One of her recent notable projects includes the URMC Ambulatory Orthopaedic Center at Marketplace Mall, where she oversaw construction administration. Izzy is currently working on projects with Upstate Medical University, Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Rochester — at both the River Campus and Medical Center.
