BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Jamie Jacobs has been named to the management team at Riger Marketing Communications in Binghamton. She will become a new partner at the agency and acquire equity in the company over the next five years, according to a Riger news release.

Jacobs’ career at Riger began as a student intern in 2005. Since then, she has held a variety of positions including account assistant, copywriter, and account executive. Jacobs has also led the agency’s business-development program for the past several years.

A graduate of Binghamton University, she completed her bachelor’s degree in English and literature studies in just three years. Her education also included studying abroad in London.

Jacobs is also a graduate of both Broome Leadership Institute and Leadership Pocono.

“Jamie brings a new perspective to our management team,” Steve Johnson, managing partner at Riger, said in the release. “Since joining the agency, she has always demonstrated a strong work ethic, outstanding productivity, creativity, and a strong willingness to tackle any project.”

Riger Marketing Communications is a multi-service communications agency encompassing advertising, marketing, public relations, research, media services, graphics, and other specializations.
