Welch Allyn announced that Janie Goddard has joined the company as executive vice president, strategic business units and marketing. She will have responsibility over the company’s four strategic business units and their P&Ls, and serve as a corporate marketing leader. Goddard will report directly to Steve Meyer, Welch Allyn president and CEO, and will work closely with the executive staff and board of directors. Goddard has extensive general management and marketing executive experience gained from a number of Fortune 500 companies. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Administration, with a concentration in general management.
