SALINA, N.Y. — JAS Recruitment has moved its corporate headquarters to a 4,000-square-foot space at the Salina Meadows Office Park at 301 Plainfield Road in Salina.

It previously operated in a nearly 2,200-square-foot location at 100 Metropolitan Park Drive in Salina.

JAS Recruitment specializes in professional, direct hire and contract recruitment, according to its website.

The firm moved to its new location at the end of May and currently employs 18, Joe Szlosek, partner in JAS Recruitment, said in an email response to a BJNN inquiry.

The new office space has been designed, built and furnished to accommodate JAS Recruitment’s current employees as well as the 20 additional employees it plans to hire in the next two years, the firm said in a news release.

Karis Wiggins Designs of Jamesville and Bivens + Associates Architects worked with JAS Recruitment in designing the new space at the Salina Meadows Office Park. Bivens + Associates Architects also operates at Salina Meadows Office Park, according to its website.

Roy Stanley, Inc. of DeWitt, a contractor, handled the build out on the JAS Recruitment office.

Szlosek declined to disclose how much it cost JAS Recruitment to move to its new headquarters.

The office has a “very open feel to it with modern furniture and bright colors,” as described in the company’s news release. The lobby is “full of light, modern woodwork, and glass,” it added.

“This is a very exciting time for us as we enter the next phase of our growth. We intentionally built and furnished our new space to be twice the size we need today. The designer and general contractor did a great job building out a space for us that will make it easier to attract and retain the area’s best talent,” Jesse Skellett, director of sales and recruiting at JAS Recruitment, said.

Besides the Salina location, JAS Recruitment also operates offices in Rochester and Buffalo.

The company doesn’t have employees in the Rochester and Buffalo locations, but uses those offices to meet with clients and candidates, Szlosek noted in the email response.
