Medical technologist, JESSICA BURMASTER, has been appointed director of the laboratory services department at Rome Memorial Hospital. After working for Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) for 15 years, she was most recently employed as assistant laboratory supervisor at Slocum Dickson Medical Group in New Hartford. Burmaster graduated from Utica College with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received her certificate in clinical laboratory science from George Washington University. Burmaster completed her master’s degree in public health at Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida.
