ITHACA — Applications for the latest round of the JumpStart Grant program are due June 30.
JumpStart, a program of the Cornell Center for Materials Research, helps fund collaborations between companies and university researchers. Funding covers faculty, research staff, facilities, services, and materials. Projects in the latest funding round will begin in September.
Projects up to $15,000 are funded by matching company contributions with JumpStart money. Cash from companies participating is capped at $5,000.
Empire State Development’s Division of Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) funds the program.
