Karen Guyder Felter

Smith Sovik Kendrick & Sugnet, P.C. announced that Karen Guyder Felter has joined the firm as a partner. She returns to Smith Sovik after a 15-year hiatus, during which time she worked as a law clerk for Hon. Norman A. Mordue, now a Senior U.S. Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. While working for Judge Mordue, Felter fine-tuned her research and writing skills, addressing a full array of criminal matters under U.S. jurisdiction. At Smith Sovik, she will focus on research, writing, and appellate advocacy in several areas. Felter is a 1992 graduate of Albany Law School and a 1989 graduate of Boston University.
