KAREN MORRISSEY has joined SRC, Inc. as VP of human resources and community relations. She succeeds Jim Holland, who is retiring from SRC after 27 years of service. Morrissey is an experienced human-resources executive with demonstrated success leading functions that include talent management, benefits, compensation, and HR information technology. In her new role at SRC, Morrissey will be responsible for leading and overseeing all HR functions, corporate communications, community relations, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion. In her most recent role as associate VP of HR at Syracuse University, Morrissey was focused on meeting organizational goals, transforming the talent-management team to a full-service talent-acquisition team, launching an expanded HR shared-services center, and leading the design, implementation, and change management of the HR and payroll system. Morrissey has also served as a senior consultant and health-care actuary at Harbridge Consulting Group and PwC. Morrissey holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from College of the Holy Cross and Duke University, respectively.
