Kim Smith has been named associate dean in the School of Science, Technology and Health Studies at Morrisville State College. Smith, who recently served as interim associate dean in the School of Science, Technology and Health Studies, has worked at Morrisville State since 2006. Throughout her tenure, she has also served as assistant professor of nursing and nursing department chair. Prior to Morrisville State, Smith worked as a staff nurse at Chenango Memorial Hospital for 13 years. She earned a master’s degree in nursing education from SUNYIT, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Keuka College, an associate degree in nursing from Morrisville State. Smith is now working toward a doctoral degree in nursing science at Sage College, near Albany.
