SYRACUSE — L’Occitane en Provence, an international beauty store, has opened on the first floor of Destiny USA.

L’Occitane sells products that target skincare, fragrance, hair care, and men’s grooming, Destiny USA said in a news release.

The retailer is located between Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th and BCBG MaxAzria and across from The Cheesecake Factory, according to the release.

The company aspires to be “the worldwide reference for Mediterranean well-being, with unique body, face, and home products,” according to the Destiny USA release.

L’Occitane has more than 2,000 boutiques in more than 100 countries around the world.

Olivier Baussan founded the company in 1976 with the purpose of creating a retailer that celebrates and preserves the traditions of his native Provence, a province in southeastern France, the company says.
