SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Laboratory Alliance of Central New York announced it has named Jodi Lippke as its director of laboratory operations.
She will replace Maria Dillon, who plans to retire later this year after nearly 25 years at Laboratory Alliance.
Lippke returns to Laboratory Alliance with more than 10 years of experience in clinical laboratory testing and leadership. She supervised Laboratory Alliance’s Central Receiving department at the Operations Center from 2013-2018. Most recently, she was manager of laboratory and pathology medicine services at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. She brings with her significant point-of-care testing experience, having supervised the POC program at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Lippke earned her bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Upstate Medical University in 2010.
Laboratory Alliance, established in 1998, provides all inpatient and outpatient clinical and anatomic pathology testing for Crouse Hospital and St. Joseph’s Health and for regional hospitals, long-term care facilities, and health-care practices in a 16-county region in Central New York. The company says it performs more than 10 million tests per year through its 11 patient centers and three laboratory locations.
