SYRACUSE — Leadership Greater Syracuse (LGS) today announced the 53 Central New Yorkers it has chosen to participate in the 2014 class of its yearlong training program.
“I am pleased to introduce the class of 2014 who were chosen through a competitive selection process. Through LGS, these civic-minded individuals will be equipped with the leadership tools to help improve the quality of life in Central New York,” Pam Brunet, executive director of the nonprofit organization, said in a news release.
The program will provide participants an in-depth knowledge of how Central New York works. They will look at political, economic, educational, social, and cultural topics and they will have the pulse on the most important issues facing the community, LGS contends.
