ROME, N.Y. — Green Ignite, LLC, a business sells an array of LED light bulbs, lamps, and other products, has formally opened its new location at 312 South James St. in Rome.

Viktor Klyachko, president and founder of Green Ignite, LLC, was presented with a First Dollar of Profit award, by Adam Hovak, chairman of the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony, on Tuesday afternoon at the business.

Green Ignite expanded into the James Street location in 2020, according to its Facebook profile.

Klyachko, who immigrated to the Mohawk Valley from Ukraine as a child, previously founded several energy-efficiency ventures including a successful LED lighting distribution company, offering energy monitoring and solar technology, according to the Green Ignite website.

Green Ignite is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
