Liberty Resources announces hiring of new CFO, Harris

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Human-services agency Liberty Resources, Inc. announced it recently hired Kelli Harris as its new chief financial officer.

Harris began her new role on Sept. 10. As a member of Liberty’s executive management team, Harris has a strategic role in the overall management of the company and will oversee planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities.

Harris comes to Liberty Resources after a nearly 15-year career at Crouse Health. She began as an accountant and rose in increasing responsibility up to her most recent role as the health system’s CFO.

“I am very pleased to introduce Kelli Harris as a member of our Executive Management team and look forward to the energy and experience she brings to our agency. As Liberty Resources moves into value-based contracting for managed care and health care, Kelli’s extensive background and depth of knowledge will be vital to our success,” Carl Coyle, CEO of Liberty Resources, said in a release.

Harris is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management. Her community involvement includes serving on the boards of Crouse Health Foundation, Iroquois Nursing Home, and the Plaza Nursing Home Company.

Based in Syracuse Liberty Resources employs more than 1,400 professional staff providing shelter, treatment, assistance, counseling, and support to nearly 15,000 individuals and families. It operates services across New York state and has a significant presence in Texas. Liberty’s  services include integrated health care for mental health and primary care; community behavioral health (substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, HIV services); integrated care management; intellectual disabilities services; child, youth, and family services; and early intervention services.
