LITTLE FALLS, N.Y.  -- The approximately 100,000-square-foot industrial warehouse located at 25 Riverside Industrial Park in Little Falls was recently sold.

Mohawk Hospital Equipment, Inc. (dba, Mohawk Healthcare), a distributor of medical equipment, purchased the property from 25 Riverside Industrial Parkway LLC in April for $1.3 million.

Jeffrey D’Amore of Cushman & Wakefield/Pyramid Brokerage Company exclusively marketed the property for sale and facilitated this transaction on behalf of the seller, according to a news release from the real-estate firm.

Mohawk Hospital Equipment announced it will be moving its current downtown Utica warehouse and distribution center to the Little Falls site, because the Utica property is in the footprint of the planned downtown Utica hospital of the Mohawk Valley Health System.

Mohawk Hospital Equipment said the move will happen by mid- to late-summer, with 21 jobs moving to the Little Falls site. The company also plans to hire six more people there.

Mohawk Hospital Equipment's offices will remain in Utica. The company sells a variety of medical products and services to hospitals, surgery centers, physician offices, nursing homes, and other health-care providers.
