Local exec chosen for national trade group board

SYRACUSE — A co-owner and vice president at TAG Mechanical Systems, Inc. has been names to a board leadership position with a national industry association.

Ellis Guiles has been appointed vice chairman of the board of directors of Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), a trade group for indoor environmental systems professionals. TAG is a Syracuse–based mechanical contracting firm.

Guiles has been a member of ACCA since 2005, is currently a member of the board, and chairman of its building performance council.

“I’m honored to have been selected by the nominating committee of ACCA and look forward to continuing to work with some of the most dedicated indoor environmental professionals that I know,” Guiles said in a news release.

Founded in 1988, TAG employs more than 80 people.
