OWEGO, N.Y. — The Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) unit announced it has appointed Paula J. Hartley to succeed Dan Spoor as the Owego plant general manager.

Hartley, VP, is also responsible for Advanced Product Solutions (APS) market segment in Owego. She is a member of the American Red Cross Southern Tier board of directors, and a Lockheed Martin executive sponsor of the United Way of Broome County, per a Lockheed email release.

Dan Spoor, VP of Sikorsky Future Vertical Lift and Mission Systems, will continue to oversee the MH-60R Romeo, VH-92A presidential helicopter and combat rescue helicopter programs from Lockheed’s Owego facility, per the release.

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), a global security and aerospace company, employs about 2,500 people in Owego.
