WAMPSVILLE, N.Y. — The Madison County Health Department on Thursday warned the public that a recent visitor to Knotty Pine Diner in Wampsville tested positive for the coronavirus.
Members of the public who visited the diner, which is located on Route 5, on Oct. 3, between 5 and 6 p.m., are asked to self-monitor for symptoms up to Oct. 17.
Those symptoms include fever, cough, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, and/or difficulty breathing. The individual who tested positive was wearing a mask.
