On Monday, State Police in Lee arrested 31-year-old Louis M. Gisondi of Rome, for seven counts of 2nd degree forgery (a felony), seven counts of 2nd degree felony criminal possession of a forged instrument, one count of 4th degree grand larceny (a felony), and one count of attempted petit larceny (a misdemeanor).
He is accused of cashing checks totaling more than $1,000. State Police didn’t reveal the banks where the checks were cashed.
Gisondi was arraigned in Oneida County Centralized Arraignment Court and was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in the City of Rome Court at a later date, State Police say.
