Mary Jo Barnello

The Everson Museum of Art has appointed Mary Jo Barnello as the museum’s new chief development officer, beginning Nov. 17. She has more than 20 years experience as a senior manager in development and fundraising. Most recently, she served as the director of development and community relations at Empire State divisional headquarters for the Salvation Army. Previously, Barnello held leadership fundraising positions with Loretto, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York, and the Boys and Girls Club. Barnello replaces Samara Hannah, who served the museum as director of development for nearly three years.
