Masonic Care Community hires Roberts as director of strategic marketing and philanthropy

UTICA, N.Y. — The Masonic Care Community announced it has hired Mara Roberts as its director of strategic marketing and philanthropy.

Roberts brings more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit field, working in both marketing and fundraising. She most recently was the VP of mission advancement at the YMCA of Central New York.

Roberts says she is looking forward to working with the staff and the board of trustees of the Masonic Hall and Home and to continue to build awareness for the programs and services of the Masonic Care Community, in addition to financial support for its cause.

Roberts will be responsible for marketing and branding the Masonic Care Community’s Utica facility, as well other properties operated by the trustee across New York state.

She joins at a time for growth at the Masonic Care Community with the launch of the new Horticulture Center, the Neighborhoods at Acacia Village, and more.

Roberts recently relocated to the Utica area from Syracuse.
