“enhance” Onondaga County’s efforts to “flatten the curve” through social distancing.
“Our community has come together in a truly remarkable way during this crisis. Let’s remember to check on our loved ones, neighbors and friends during this time and I am confident our community will emerge stronger than ever when this is over,” McMahon said in a statement.

The executive order only closes Destiny USA and no other Pyramid-owned and operated centers, the firm noted in its message.
McMahon’s order comes less than 24 hours after Destiny USA had announced reduced hours of operation in response to the coronavirus situation.
Moving forward
After 5 p.m. Wednesday, any tenant that needs to access their store will be required to enter and leave through the “carousel entrance” (the Onondaga Lake side entrance immediately under the carousel ride).
Pyramid says the building will be accessible 24 hours each day and will have a member of the security team at that entrance to sign people in and out of Destiny USA.
Signage with these instructions will also be posted at each of the entrances.
Deliveries for any tenants that continue to provide “take-out” food service will need to be coordinated through Schoeneck, and all other deliveries to Destiny USA will be suspended.
Destiny USA is advising the public to contact restaurants individually to see who is still offering “take-out” food service, Nikita Jankowski, director of marketing for the Destiny USA and the Pyramid Management Group, told CNYBJ in an email message.
Destiny USA security personnel will continue to staff and patrol the complex throughout the closure, per the message.
