Meals on Wheels of Syracuse elects new board members and officers

SYRACUSE, N.Y. —  Meals on Wheels of Syracuse recently announced that the following people have joined its board of directors.

·         Eric Adams, director of nutritional services at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center

·         Janet L. Burke, director of research for the City of Syracuse

·         Danielle M. Chabot, director of compliance at SRC

·         Mark J. Pitonzo, director of business development for Agway Energy Services, a subsidiary of Suburban Propane.

Meals on Wheels also announced the election of the following two people for additional terms as officers:

·         Board president: Jeanne Clarke, VP of planning and projects at Columbian Financial Group

·         Board treasurer: Corinne English, audit services manager for Fust Charles Chambers LLP 

Meals on Wheels of Syracuse says it is the fourth-oldest Meals on Wheels program in the country, “feeding homebound neighbors since 1959.” The Syracuse program served nearly 197,000 meals last year and expects to serve more than 200,000 meals this year.
