Mirbeau Inn & Spa promotes three, names Snyder GM

SKANEATELES— Mirbeau Inn & Spa says it has promoted three of its key managers: Philip Snyder to general manager, Catherine Sinclair to resort manager, and Jose Herrera to controller.

Snyder has been with Mirbeau since 2009, and most recently held the position of controller. Before that, he worked for Columbia Sussex Corp., where he held a number of positions at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort and Spa at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, S.C., the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and the Atlanta Marriott Downtown in Atlanta, Ga.  Snyder holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel, resort, and tourism management from Paul Smith’s College – The College of the Adirondacks and currently resides in Camillus.

Sinclair started with Mirbeau in 2010 as sales manager, before being promoted to business-development manager, and now resort manager. Prior to joining Mirbeau, she held posts at East West Resorts and Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa, both located in Beaver Creek, Colo. Sinclair is a graduate of the University of Colorado and now resides in Skaneateles.

“Over the past few years we have seen Philip, Catherine, and Jose display tremendous growth. We are thrilled to be able promote from within the Mirbeau family and enjoy watching our staff members advance and succeed inside the company,” John Logan, CEO of Mirbeau Hospitality Services, said in a news release.
