VESTAL — Homestead Funding Corp., an Albany–based licensed mortgage bank, today formally opened a new branch office in Vestal with a grand-opening event and ribbon cutting.
The office is located at 4777 Vestal Parkway East, according to the Homestead website. The 650-square-foot office opened to customers in May, the company said in a news release.
Brendan Burns has joined the organization as its branch manager and licensed loan originator, Homestead Funding said in its news release. Burns became a licensed loan originator with Homestead last October.
In operation since 1995, Homestead Funding is a multi-state, licensed mortgage bank with branches located in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia, according to Homestead Funding’s news release.
Besides its Vestal location, Homestead also operates Central New York branches in Cicero and Watertown, its website says.
The mortgage bank has originated billions of dollars in residential mortgage loans, according to its news release.
