Mothers & Babies Perinatal Network names new board members, officers

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Mothers & Babies Perinatal Network of South Central New York, Inc. (M&BPN) has announced new board members and officers for 2015.

The new board members are Camille O’Brien, Shari Sterling, Danielle Bulger, and Lyubov Nixon.

M&BPN also announced the following new board officers: Maire Lowery, treasurer; Michele Vojtisek, vice president; Sylvia Kerber, executive member-at-large; and Charlotte O’Dea, executive member-at-large.

The nonprofit M&BPN says its mission is to improve pregnancy and birth outcomes and support the health outcomes and development of women, infants, and families in the eight-county region of South Central New York. It serves Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Otsego, Tioga, and Tompkins counties.

Headquartered in an 8,500-square-foot office at 457 State St. in Binghamton, M&BPN has 26 full-time employees. The nonprofit has a $1.8 million budget for the 2014-2015 fiscal year.
