M&T Bank appointed two new members to its Directors Advisory Council for the Central New York region.
Mara Charlamb, vice president and owner of United Radio, Inc. in Syracuse, and Richard Cook, a partner in the banking and finance and corporate practices at law firm Hancock Estabrook, LLP of Syracuse, have both joined the group. The council meets regularly and provides M&T management with insight on business, client, and community issues.
“Both Mara and Richard have made a significant impact to the business community of Central New York. Their different backgrounds are valuable additions to M&T Bank’s advisory council and I am confident that they will help M&T continue its vital role in the region,” Allen Naples, president of M&T’s Syracuse region, said in a news release.
M&T’s Central New York region includes 45 offices and 550 employees. Buffalo–based M&T has more than $79 billion in total assets and 750 branches in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.
