UTICA, N.Y. — The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) announced it has named Christine Fatiuk nurse manager of the AC 3 unit at its St. Luke’s campus.
In this position, she is responsible for nursing operations including clinical and administrative responsibilities for AC3, an adult inpatient medical surgical unit.
Fatiuk previously held a medical surgical staff nurse position at the St. Elizabeth Campus in Utica, and most recently worked in a staff nurse position at the Medical University of South Carolina. in Charleston. She was elected president of the Lowcountry Oncology Nursing Society in Charleston in 2017. From 2017-2019, Fatiuk held a clinical instructor position for the Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing’s accelerated bachelor’s degree in nursing program.
Fatiuk earned an associate degree from the St. Elizabeth College of Nursing in Utica, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Arizona.
