MVHS names Adams medical director of Women’s Health Center and OB Care

UTICA, N.Y. — Dumisa Adams, M.D., has recently joined the MVHS Medical Group as medical director and OB/GYN at the MVHS Women’s Health Center and MVHS OB Care Center, where she will provide inpatient and outpatient care.

Dr. Adams has more than 20 years of experience in medicine. She received her medical degree from University of Toronto in Canada, where she also completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Adams is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has also received an executive MPA degree from Syracuse University.

Dr. Adams says she is accepting OB/GYN patients of all ages as needed. Her offices are located at the Women’s Health Center at 2212 Genesee St. in Utica, and the OB Care Center at 1656 Champlin Ave. in Utica.
