UTICA, N.Y. — The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is hosting a hiring event on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 2-6 p.m. at the Wynn Hospital construction offices on the second floor of 201 Lafayette St. in Utica.

MVHS will interview for a variety of positions including linen and laundry services, food services, retail services, housekeeping, electricians, carpenters, mechanics, HVAC professionals, materials management, transport drivers, and laboratory positions.

“Our last event was a great success,” Kim Nicholson, MVHS talent-acquisition specialist, said in a release. “We’re looking forward to people from our community becoming a part of the MVHS family.”

 The health system has entry-level positions available. Once hired, eligible staff may access the benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Those interested in attending may register for the event online at mvhealthsystem.org/hiring. Walk-ins are also welcome.
