MVHS to offer Pfizer booster vaccines at its New Hartford pod

UTICA, N.Y. — Starting Wednesday, the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) will open its COVID-19 vaccine pod to the public to provide Pfizer booster shots for those who qualify.

The pod is located at the MVHS Burrstone House at 1710 Burrstone Road in New Hartford. It’s open from 7 a.m. to noon, Monday through Saturday. The boosters are being provided in partnership with Upstate Family Health Center and Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corp., MVHS said in a news release.

 The booster shots are available by appointment only and vaccine recipients need to bring their vaccine card to the pod. Those who are interested, can register here.
