ITHACA — Mystic Water Kava Bar and Yoga Studio, which describes itself as an alcohol-free nightlife alternative, is formally opening for business today in Ithaca, according to a news release from the Downtown Ithaca Alliance.
Mystic Water is a family-owned business that was started four years ago by Avigdor Weber in Hollywood, Fla., with a second location in San Diego, according to the release. Weber’s sister, Judi Galgoczy, and Galgoczy’s husband, Paul, who have resided in Ithaca for the last seven years, will oversee the new Ithaca location, at 109 S. Cayuga St.
The new Kava Bar provides a traditional non-alcoholic elixir from the South Pacific made from the ground root of the Kava plant, along with music, art, and yoga classes, according to the release.
