Nan Howard, CPA, has been appointed partner at Firley, Moran, Freer, & Eassa, CPA, P.C (FMF&E). She joins the FMF&E team with more than 25 years of tax-accounting experience, primarily in the energy industry. Howard holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and secondary math education from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Her most recent experience includes 14 years as director of tax and treasury at Power Plant Management Services, LLC and five years as tax director at Cogentrix Energy, LLC.
