Nascentia Health hires Frederick as VP of health-plan operations

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Nascentia Health announced it has appointed Amanda Frederick as its new VP of health-plan operations.

Frederick is involved in overseeing Nascentia’s managed long-term care plan (MLTC) and Medicare Advantage plans. She works as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership to facilitate continued compliance and business quality.

Frederick previously worked for Fidelis-Centene as director of long-term services and supports, where she supported business operations and oversight of program audit, analytics, project management, authorizations, and care coordination (non-clinical). She received her MBA with a specialization in health-care management from Walden University and a bachelor’s degree in health sciences with a minor in psychology from Russell Sage College. Frederick also has a Healthcare Leadership Advancement certificate from Cornell-HANYS.
