Northern Credit Union has promoted Nathan Hunter to chief financial officer at the Watertown–based credit union. Having been with Northern for seven years, he previously held the roles of vice president of accounting and finance and accounting/finance manager. Hunter has more than 10 years of financial expertise, beginning his career at Dannible & McKee LLP in Syracuse as a public accountant. He earned the credentials of certified fraud examiner and as a New York State CPA. Hunter obtained an MBA in accounting and bachelor’s degree accounting from SUNY Oswego, and an associate degree in business administration from Jefferson Community College.
