SYRACUSE, N.Y. — National Grid (NYSE: NGG) and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) have installed 18 new electric-vehicle charging plugs on the ESF campus.
Officials from the utility and the school held a Wednesday ceremonial ribbon cutting to acknowledge the installation.
The plugs pictured are available for public use in the college’s P22 lot, located on Standart Street.
National Grid says it has invested more than $160,000 for the project through its electric-vehicle charging station make-ready program. That program provides financial support to businesses that install chargers for its employees or the public.
