Nephrology Associates names Azar new partner

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Nephrology Associates of Syracuse, PC announced it has added Antoine Azar, M.D. as the newest partner physician of the practice.

Over the past two years, Azar has successfully transitioned from the hospital setting to private practice nephrology care, Nephrology Associates said.

Azar previously worked at Crouse Hospital. He completed his nephrology fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and his internal medicine residency at UIC/Advocate Christ Medical Center in Chicago.

Azar earned his medical degree from University of Aleppo in Syria and is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
