New apartment and townhome community in Utica formally opens Thursday afternoon

UTICA, N.Y. — Deerfield Place, a new multi-family apartment and townhome community in Utica, formally opens with a ribbon-cutting event on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. It is located at 1 Patriot Circle on the north side of Utica.

Guest speakers will include state and local legislators, and the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce will present the ribbon for the ceremonial ribbon cutting, according to a chamber news release. Attendees will have the chance to tour the apartment and townhome complex following the ceremony.

Construction of Deerfield Place began in June 2016. The sprawling community consists of 21 residential buildings and 156 apartments and townhomes, and includes a community fitness center, clubhouse, and an outdoor pool and patio, the release stated.
