SYRACUSE — The Rescue Mission has appointed Jeanne Korchak as its new board chair. She is the senior administrator for corporate human resources at O’Brien & Gere. She succeeds outgoing Board Chair Chris Gardner of FMFE Wealth Management LLC.
Korchak has served on the Rescue Mission board of directors since 2009 and most recently held the position of vice chair.
Korchak has more than 19 years of professional experience in the areas of training and development, recruiting, retention, and career development. She is currently responsible for onboarding, college recruiting, and the Pathways to Employment program for O’Brien & Gere.

Lane, marketing director of C&S Companies holds a bachelor’s degree in communications management from Syracuse University. She has 25 years experience with marketing and communications/ public relations in both the public and private sectors regionally and nationally.
Horian is a communications consultant who has guided business leaders in global organizations for more than 30 years. She has designed and implemented approaches to improve individual and organizational performance through assessment, planned change, leadership, and teamwork. She has also previously served on the Rescue Mission board of directors and on the board executive committee.
